“It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.” This quote by Walt Disney is something I have tried to live by for as long as I can remember. When I was very young and fortunate enough to visit Disney World with my family. As I walked through the lands of the Magic Kingdom, I was transported to another place, forgetting about reality and just enjoying the beauty that I was experiencing at that moment in time. Every minute detail appeared so real and intentional. The more I explored, the more I realized these designers had made something that transcended everything my young mind believed to be possible. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life following in their footsteps and creating designs and products that allow people to experience the beauty of life.
This passion for creating designs, products, and experiences for people, along with the skills I have acquired at the Georgia Institute of Technology, has allowed me to connect with users on a personal level, ideate, and create “impossible” designs that the user can connect with. As a designer, there is nothing more fulfilling to me than seeing someone have a great experience with one of my designs and having them ask me, “How did you do that?”
